Together we will think about what has brought you to therapy. Working psychodynamically, we will explore how your past experiences, relationships and unconscious thoughts are shaping the way that you feel and behave today. psychodynamic therapy is based on the idea that many of our emotional difficulties stem from patterns developed in our early years. By bringing these unconscious influences into awareness we can start to recognise and change unhelpful patterns, and help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, providing the opportunity to then move forwards with a greater sense of self and personal agency.
My practice welcomes people of all sexual orientations, religions and cultures. I am an empathic psychodynamic counsellor, and have worked in the music industry and education for over 25 years. I have experience of working with the challenges arising from: anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, eating disorders, OCD, abuse, neurodiversity, relationship difficulties, self harm, divorce, and religious trauma.
